About our School

Little Mead Primary Academy is a successful North Bristol school with the highest aspirations for every child. Our school, which includes a thriving Nursery, caters for children from age 3 to 11 years old. Our staff strive to ensure excellence in the teaching of all areas of the curriculum. We want our pupils to show kindness to each other, to display and expect respectful attitudes and behaviour towards others and to feel safe.

In-Year Admissions Information

An in-year admission means admission to a current year group for a child who is already attending school but wishes to change schools due to relocation or a change in circumstances. Your child will normally already be attending or have a place at a school so please speak with your current headteacher prior to making an in-year admission application.

Little Mead Primary Academy manages its own in-year admissions so if you wish to apply for an in-year place, please contact the school office.

Little Mead Primary School welcomes enquiries about admissions at any time in the school year. We hold regular tours for prospective parents and pupils, please contact the school office to book your visit.

We aim to get back to applicants within 10 working days to discuss your application.

Moving schools is a huge step for any child and we want to make sure that our school is right for your child. Therefore, no child is offered a place without a visit to the school with family so that you can hear what our educational offer is and decide if this is right school for your child.

If there is no place available you will be given the option to go onto our waiting list.
